**The position**:
This fixed term role, the Purchasing Associate, will ensure that parts are ordered to the specifications and delivered in full on time by our suppliers. You will ensure that orders are fulfilled correctly, and that any changes or delays are communicated to the Customer Service Team. This role requires regular communication with a range of stakeholders, including suppliers our internal Retail, Fulfillment and Customer Experience teams.

**You’ll be responsible for**:

- Ordering parts for our e-commerce customers
- Confirm, track & expedite orders placed with national and local suppliers
- Monitor & coordinate shipping, local transport
- Own and manage assigned vendors
- DIFOT management (delivery in full on time)
- Supporting the Customer Service Team with enquiries with orders and product availability
- Supporting fulfilment teams with delivery errors
- Processing inbound returns administrative tasks
- Collecting data for supplier scorecards
- Range & Product information updates

**As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have**:

- Prior experience in a similar purchasing role
- Ability to maintain high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize workload
- A strong work ethic and team spirit
- Excellent communication & report building skills
- Ideally have two years’ experience in a similar purchasing role
