Overview:
Gallagher Bassett (GB) is Australia and New Zealand’s premier third party claims administrator. We manage claims on behalf of insurers, brokers, government bodies and self-insured organisations. We are part of the leading global risk management and insurance group Arthur J Gallagher & Co.

As Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the highest level of business performance is achieved through the development, refinement and continuous improvement of claims operational processes.
Reporting to the Manager, Claims Excellence and Strategy, you will deliver sustainable business outcomes through the promotion of best practice claims process management and continuous improvement.
**Responsibilities**:
- Undertake key quality assurance and compliance activities across a range of workers compensation claims;
- Share key insights, learnings and coaching with the broader business and within claims teams;
- Engage with business stakeholders in the development, execution and implementation of processes and continuous improvement initiatives;
- Promote the delivery of high-quality customer service towards all parties involved in the technical aspects of a claims process within acceptable timeframes and requirements.
Qualifications:
- Significant experience in workers compensation and claims management;
- Strong workers compensation legislative and regulatory knowledge;
- Experience in undertaking claims quality assurance and auditing activities;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders;
- A strategic mindset and approach to work;
- A strong sense of team and collaboration;
- A resilient attitude.
