RPS are seeking an experienced
- **Credit Officer** for 10 month parental leave contract.Reporting to the Credit Controller, this position is a flexible 3 days/week equivalent, with exact days/times to be agreed with the successful applicant.
- **About the Role**
- Key Responsibilities include:
- Liaising with clients to resolve any receipting discrepancies, including unallocated transactions, overpayments, and refunds plus the processing of credit card payment
- Respond to queries from the business and clients on account payments
- Review new client set ups for compliance and data integrity checks (ABN validation, credit file extracts etc.)
- Conduct preliminary credit assessments on all new clients and approve within delegated authority or escalate if required
- Prepare monthly account statements & debtor reports
- Build relationships with key business personnel to foster a working partnership in debt collection
- Monitor the Accounts Receivable inbox and respond to queries from client and the business in a timely manner

**About You**
- Ideally, you will have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in an office administration or accounts receivable support role
- Intermediate Microsoft office skills, primarily in excel and word
- Can work autonomously, is self-motivated and enjoys working towards targets
- Ability to build and maintain and build relationship both internally and externally to facilitate resolution of client payment issues
- Willingness to work as a part of a small team with an emphasis on providing a high level of service and support to the core business
