**The Role**

A newly created role reporting into a down to earth P&C leader, this is a fantastic opportunity which will see you join a well-resourced and collaborative people team. Hands on and strategic, you will contribute to the businesses internal frameworks including ongoing up-skilling of front-line people leaders across business. Your day to day will see you work across employee relations, interpretation of awards & workplace legislation, compliance and projects, as well as the development of internal frameworks and systems to support strategy for all things industrial compliance and relations.

**The Duties**
- Ongoing education, training and up-skilling of people leaders with regards to employee relations and industrial relations
- Support wage & entitlement compliance projects by providing the data experts with key industrial relations intel
- Develop governance, frameworks, and systems to enable sustainable industrial compliance and the successful implementation of industrial relations strategies

While exposure to retail, hospitality or entertainment industries would be hugely valuable, what will see you thrive in this role is your warm nature, your can-do attitude and your ability to work collaboratively. You will have an eye for detail and data, and strong experience working across employee relations, industrial relations, awards & workplace legislation.

**Experience And Skills**
- Experience working within a similar role within retail, hospitality or entertainment highly advantageous but not essential
- Strong understanding of workplace legislations, regulations, awards and Enterprise Agreements essential
- Experience in facilitating ER/IR training or up-skilling highly desirable
- Excellent relationship skills and stakeholder management
- Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to show initiative and work within a fast paced environment
