Meraki are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a global retail business on the role of FP&A Analyst The role is based near Perth and is paying £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.

The company is embarking on a journey to enhance its FP&A & commercial finance function to aid decision making capabilities and strategic direction hence the creation of the FP&A analyst opportunity.

**The Role/Person**

The FP&A Analyst will be at the forefront of driving the commercial and operational performance of the business. You will be involved in analysing the immense data pool the company has at its disposal and turning this into information via various reporting tools including Power BI. You will also be tasked with building strong relationships with operational staff, senior management and the wider finance function.

To be successful in this role, you must come from a commercial finance, FP&A and/or business partnering background. You must have a proven track record of affecting commercial performance, process improvement and/or operation efficiency in a previous role(s). And it would be advantageous if you have worked with Power BI or similar reporting tools.

You will be involved in but not limited to the following duties:

- Develop use of Power BI analytical tool across the business, both from a regular reporting perspective and ad hoc targeted to specific initiatives
- Work with each team supported to design and introduce KPI dashboard reporting
- Perform financial evaluations of business projects or initiatives beforehand, help develop business cases, evaluate and mitigate against risk
- Perform post-evaluation analysis on projects to ensure performance widely understood with key lessons fed back to the business to future projects
- Provide input to the budgeting and forecasting process
- Work with finance and the wider business to introduce a straightforward rolling monthly forecast process
- Attend all functional meetings of the teams supported, feeling as much a sense of ownership and part of the team as with finance
- Close working relationship with the rest of the finance team, FP&A in particular

**On Offer**

The successful FP&A Analyst will be based near Perth and is required in the office 3 days per week (the rest working from home). The role is offering a salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum with additional benefits (available on request).
