The Public Transport Asset Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that public transport assets comply with the required standards and that the associated asset data is complete, accurate and contained within repositories that are fit for purpose and contribute to the provision of an outstanding public transport network.

The Public Transport Asset Compliance Officer plays a critical role in ensuring operations meet regulatory, safety and quality standards.

This includes, audits of assets, their condition and maintenance schedules, analysis of data, provision of professional reports, developing strategies, policies, procedures, and business cases in relation to the storage and usage of asset data pertaining to the Adelaide Metropolitan Public Transport Network (AMPTN).

In addition to the above, the Public Transport Asset Compliance Officer provides technical advice and recommendations by working collaboratively with key stakeholders and service providers on new techniques, technologies, standard/policies, ensuring compliance to relevant standards, legislation, policies, and procedures; on works delivered internally or by external contractors.

**Qualifications/Licences**
The successful applicant will be appointed at the classification level commensurate with their skills and experience. Please refer to the attached role statements for further information.

**PO3 -** To be eligible for appointment at this classification, a degree in Engineering or equivalent, providing eligibility for membership as a Professional Engineer of the Institution of Engineers, Australia is required.

**ASO6 -** A Tertiary qualification in Engineering, building and construction and/or extensive relevant experience will be highly regarded.

A current driver’s licence is required.

**Special Conditions**
- A National Police Check (NPC) which must be renewed every three years.
- A Department for Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check (WWCC) which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.

All Rail Safety Workers must carry out their duties in accordance with the RSNL and in keeping with the Rail Commissioner’s Safety Management System.

Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.

**Remuneration**
ASO6 - $98,478 to $104,165 pa + superannuation
PO3 - $101,285 to $107,078 pa + superannuation
