As an **Insight Executive** at **BAT South**, you will have a vital role in our Insights & Foresights team located in **Sydney, Australia**. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting research on consumer behavior, consumer preferences, and competitor insights for both Combustibles and New Categories. Contribute to the development of a Single View of the Consumer and insights/foresights across the key contestable consumer pools to drive scale in our brands and protect the heartland base of our portfolio In Australia And New Zealand.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR**:

- Develop deep consumer insights by analyzing multiple sources and harnessing findings to gain a profound understanding of combustible and new category consumers.
- Translate data and information into impactful insights and foresights, guiding the business on interpretation and implications.
- Lead and report on consumer research to implement the insights plan.
- Support the development of a single view of the Nicotine Consumer and assist in developing organisational understanding of consumers, shoppers, and the operating environment.
- Manage research agencies, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery of outputs, and conduct evaluations for initiatives.
- Manage internal data, research reports, and ease of accessibility across the organization.
- Support the development and embedding of new capabilities across the business.
- Collaborate with the Insights Manager and Head of Insights to build and implement the insights roadmap.

**CRUCIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**:

- A tertiary degree or equivalent experience in a field such as Marketing, Business, Psychology, or Analytics.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in a corporate environment or a research agency, with a consistent track record of business delivery.
- Sophisticated understanding of research methodologies and strong analytic skills, including the ability to synthesize information, identify trends, reduce complexity, and identify key opportunities.
- Excellent planning and organizing skills, including the ability to establish and prioritize tasks and objectives to effectively manage time and resources.
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, with the capacity to deliver impactful presentations to individuals at all levels.
