If you are a strategic senior data analyst / Data Visualisation professional with a history of delivering impactful analytics and data-driven recommendations to senior and executive leaders, this might be the perfect role for you

- This role is in a new, small squad that is on a mission to deliver critical dashboards, insights and reports to the executives, including the C-suite - it does not get any more visible

**About you**:

- 3-4 years (minimum) of strategic analytics and data visualisation - ideally delivering insights to executive or senior leadership level
- Advanced usage of Tableau for data exploration and visualisation
- Solid SQL skills for queries, some mild data pipelines/ETL, data quality & integration
- Confident communication skills - across requirement gathering and getting to root causes, working with cross-functional teams and presentation of work
- Takes pride in putting thought into data visualisations - not from just the aesthetic perspective but also understanding your audience and their key questions and pain points
- Beneficial (not mandatory) experience include: AWS, stats or modelling knowledge or working in SaaS or e-commerce industries

- Does this role suit graduates or someone with 1-2 years of experience? **No** (but you could check our other job postings)
- Is this contract likely to end in 6 months? **No**. We can't guarantee, but it is very likely to be 12+ months work and lots of contractors who do well are offered attractive permanent roles with large bonus/share packages
- Is it international timezone or long hours? **No. **Most core teams work around Australian hours, though you do have peers and some meetings with international peers and stakeholders. They are very flexible and have a great work-life balance
- Is the work structured with set plans and dashboards to build? **No. Definitely not** This is mainly greenfield work and as such, we need someone who loves solving problems, interacting with others and seeing the benefits of their data work, rather than clocking in and building the same reports or maintaining pre-existing dashboards
