Baker

We are currently seeking enthusiastic, talented and hard-working Bakers (with or without qualifications or previous experience working in a bakery) for our Hoppers Crossing & Manor Lakes Bakers Delight stores in Melbourne’s South West.

At Bakers Delight our Bakers are responsible for:
Assisting in product preparation and baking

Baking and presenting quality product to meet changing customer needs

Coaching and supporting the development of Apprentices and Bakers Assistant's

Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the bakery

Assisting the Bakery Manager with stock control and production expenses

Providing delightful customer service when required

Dough making

Oven work

Maintaining bakery cleanliness to WHS Standards

Customer service

Ordering stock and stocktake

Passion for baking

Proven baking experience

Ability to work a rotating roster

Reliable transportation

Excellent communication and time management skills

Ability to work in a fast paced/flexible environment

Your customer service focus and ability to consistently show initiative in an efficient manner will help you succeed in this role and excellent organisation and communication skills are a must

You will be a reliable and self-motivated team player with a ‘can do’ attitude and excellent time management and organisational skills.

Pay: $44,323.00 - $75,825.00 per year

Expected hours: 38 per week
