The Role

We're seeking a reliable, organised Packing & Post-Production Worker to join our evening operations (typically 4:00 pm – 11:30 pm, hours may vary). You'll ensure our hand-crafted breads, pastries, and cakes are beautifully finished, accurately packed, and dispatched on time to our retail stores and wholesale partners.

Key Responsibilities

· Work with the evening post-production/packing team to meet dispatch deadlines

· Slice artisan breads with precision and consistency

· Finish baked goods (glazes/toppings) prior to packing

· Pack a wide range of products: fresh bread, pastries, frozen goods, and finished cakes

· Organise, label, and check orders for retail and wholesale deliveries

· Select and use the correct crates, boxes, and bags to protect product quality

· Maintain hygiene standards, freezer protocols, and accurate order tracking

· Coordinate with the day team for a smooth production-to-packing handover

· Proactively report shortages, packing errors, or product issues to managers

· Support stock rotation and freezer management for frozen items

· Place timely orders for packaging and consumables as needed

· Clean equipment and the workspace at the end of the shift; participate in a weekly deep clean of the factory

· Experience in food packing, dispatch, or production is welcome but not required (we'll train the right person)

· Strong attention to detail under time pressure

· Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working autonomously

· Physically fit; able to handle crates, boxes, and freezer items
