**THE POSITION**

The Event Sales Manager is responsible for the coordination of all facets of the venues function and events, managing venue reservations and developing key client relationships.

**DUTIES AND JOB TASKS**
- End-to-end coordination of functions and events including inbound enquiries, quotations, formulating food and beverage packages, client liaison, bump in and bump out, run sheets etc.
- The management of online reservations platform, monitoring daily and working with the Venue Manager to ensure tables are confirmed and allocated according to the venue’s floorplan.
- Client relationship management - establishing long lasting relationships with businesses, clients and suppliers to help drive foot traffic, encourage sales, and assist in increasing revenue for the business through networking and nurturing existing partnerships.
- Working with the wider management team to identify, develop, plan & execute key calendar dates to drive patronage including; Australia Day, Valentines Day, Halloween, Anzac Day, Christmas etc.

**PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
- Tertiary academic qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work under pressure, hustle, problem solve and think on your feet within a busy environment.
- Ability to engage effectively with customers, clients, and guests.
- Ability to identify a customer’s needs and requirements in advance.
- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills.
- Display an attention to detail.
- High level of communication skills, both written and oral.
- Demonstrate personal drive and integrity through a high level of professionalism.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively as a member of a team as well as autonomously.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, including developing and coordinating multiple events at any one time.
- High level of computer literacy.
- Ability to develop brand awareness unique to our venues.
- Ability to attend and manage events, functions and activations.
- Able to work weekends & nights as required.

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Supplementary Pay:

- Performance bonus

**Experience**:

- Events management: 2 years (preferred)
