**About the role**

The Information Systems Support Officer responsibilities will include the planning, deployment and maintenance of IT projects and initiatives, including Site deployments. They'll monitor system uptime and security, maintain backups, report and assist software licensing management. They will be a secondary point of contact for all internal customers’ IT issues and involves logging, responding and supporting customer issues, face-to-face, over the phone or via remote support. The role involves:

- Ensure that all situations requiring urgent attention are escalated accordingly
- Log and monitor the support queue and ensure service levels are adhered to
- Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
- Create and maintain documentation for Redpath's IS processes

**We are looking for**
- Minimum 5 years experience in a help desk or system support role
- Demonstrable experience of
- site deployment and management of deliverables
- time management and delivering to hard deadlines
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
- LANdesk Management Suite experience is desirable
- A high attention to detail
- Good communication and problem solving skills
- A valid drivers licence with own transport plus the ability to pass a pre-employment medical and police check
