**The Information Support Officer's key responsibilities are**:
- Review, redact and prepare the release of child protection information in accordance with the Family Law Act 1975, having regard to the confidentiality provisions contained under Child Protection Act 1999.
- Undertake and contribute to the day to day operations of Court Services by monitoring and prioritising workflow, ensuring accuracy of information is provided to stakeholders within agreed deadlines.
- Ensure decisions are made and recorded in a manner which is clear, concise, and comprehensive and meets stakeholders' needs and is consistent with record keeping policies, legislative and legislative requirements.
- Maintain departmental information and recording systems ensuring accuracy, completeness, quality and timeliness of output, and monitor trends and issues and brief the Senior Information Officer on sensitive matters as required.
- Input, monitor and maintain internal data recording systems associated with the release of information, ensuring accuracy, completeness, quality and timeliness of responses.
- Provide advice, consult and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders for example, family law court personnel or legal representatives) in relation to the release of information under section 69ZW orders or subpoenas for the production of departmental files.
- Complete tasks and actively contribute at a high level to a culture of client service, excellence and continuous improvement.
- Undertake financial processes relating to the information sharing framework such as the receipt and reconciling of payments made to the department for the issue of subpoenas.
- Participate in team and office discussions, team and office planning, and other relevant team and office projects as required to achieve the operational and strategic objectives of Court Services in accordance with the department's strategic plan.
