**Injury Reccovery claims Advisor**
Join a well known community based organisation for a 6-month contract as a Claims Management Specialist. Your role will involve effectively managing personal injury compensation claims and coordinating return-to-work efforts.
**Responsibilities**:
- Communicate with claimants, employers, and other stakeholders involved in claims management.
- Obtain relevant information for accurate claims handling.
- Coordinate return-to-work efforts, including consulting and negotiating plans with injured workers and referring them for rehabilitation.
- Develop and maintain claims management strategies, liaising with employers and making necessary recommendations.
- Manage claims ongoing, including authorizing services and calculating compensation.
- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and provide timely information to insurers.
- Identify process improvements and maintain cost estimates.
**Requirements**:
- Industry-related qualification or equivalent experience in claims management.
- Technical Skills: Minimum 3 years' experience in Workers Comp and Return to Work.
- High attention to detail.
- Accountability and reliability.
- Ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience interpreting policies and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work autonomously or within a team.
