**Your Impact**

As the Head of Finance - Grocery & Partnerships supporting our Asahi Lifestyle Beverages (ALB). Brands include Schweppes, Pepsi, Gatorade, Cool ridge.

Your new role will drive a high level of engagement across the ALB Commercial division and Leadership Team to enhance ALB commercial outcomes. This includes leading components of the commercial planning and forecasting process, working collaboratively with the sales, revenue management and demand planning teams as well modelling to deliver insights and actionable strategies aligned to the Mid Term Plan objectives of the ALB Business Division.

In addition you will provide a commercial and strategic approach to all aspects of the Grocery channel, our key partner relationships (Pepsi, Gatorade, Lipton) and broader P&L impacts to ensure continued process improvements and efficiency gains to support future growth, including business partnering to the GM Grocery & Partnerships and wider commercial leads.

**The opportunity**:
Other key responsibilities include:

- Business partner the GM Grocery & Partnerships on all commercial finance matters, providing financial and commercial counsel.
- Proactively participate, identify, and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the Grocery channel, including month end reporting, mid-month forecasting, quarterly forecasting, and reduction in the duration of all forecasting processes process.
- Understand key issues associated with Budget, Forecasting and Month End reporting and ensure corrective action is taken where relevant.
- Have a sound understanding of interaction between retailer and ALB P&Ls and be able to provide key inputs on investment decisions that impact across retailer and ALB profitability
- Support the GM Finance - ALB to regularly review performance of trade investment, commercial margin, Trade DMI, overheads and capital investment. Ensure constant communication of results, as well as recommendations to assist in achieving targets.
- Lead the ALB commercial IBP process by supporting sales to produce a reliable demand plan, advising on sales trends against promotional programs and business team input and provide commercial rigour to sales forecasting of NPD’s and innovations.
- Maintain high-level Account Summary documentation that highlights Key Market details
- Continuously seek improved ways of working, including simplifying forecasting processes and streamlining month-end reporting.
- Support and provide leadership to the wider Group Finance team and Hub Finance teams.
- Lead and manage 2 direct reports. Adherence to the yearly people cycle including performance reviews; mid-year and end of year, including development plans.

**About You**

We are looking for someone who has a minimum of 8+ years of experience in business partnering financial roles. With previous experience within a multinational FMCG environment is an advantage.

Additionally, you have the following:

- Bachelor's degree in the accounting or finance field
- Professional accounting qualification (CA or CPA) and / or MBA qualification preferred
- Significant experience in a senior finance role
- Experience of team management
- Strong relationship management
- Strong team management and leadership skills
- Well-developed decision making
