This multinational, respected multinational company manufactures and sells quality mechanical power transmission equipment. They are looking for a Hydraulics Manager based in Melbourne’s southern suburbs, to manage and grow business of their hydraulic systems solutions. You will be heavily involved in engineering the solutions, identifying leads and working with the sales team to convert them to sales outcomes. You will manage a small team and will have full P&L responsibility for the division.

To be successful, you will have:

- Tertiary qualification - Mechanical is essential
- Experience designing hydraulic systems
- Ability to identify customer’s technical needs with a view of providing solutions
- Experience selling technical solutions desirable
- Business development skills or the ability to learn
- P&L experience beneficial
- Ability to build strong credibility with customers and trusting relationships
- Effective communication skills
