**About the role**

You will be part of a team that will implement development initiatives across the organisation, and you will have a primary partnering relationship with our Food and Beverage Department, who support event delivery by ensuring it has the best capability in our industry.

You will be well regarded for this role if you have worked in a similar role supporting events and hospitality industry workers deliver great customer experiences in Food and Beverage, covering Catering Services, Retail Services and Kitchen.

You will be consulting with the business to identify learning needs and provide advice and support to people leaders and team members to develop training plans and skills uplift using contemporary learning and development knowledge. You will also be responsible for the analysis, design, development, implementation, including facilitation and evaluation of learning programs, that can be delivered face to face or virtually. There will also be the opportunity to develop and implement online learning modules.

You will build and develop effective relationships with all levels of the organisation. You will ensure learning needs are accurately identified and recommendations are appropriate to the learning needs using effective development principles.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Experience designing, developing, and facilitating learning & development programs that meet defined outcomes.
- Experience reviewing and evaluating learning programs to determine quality improvements and demonstrate return on investment
- Ability to engage and collaborate successfully with key stakeholders from across all organisational levels and with external learning providers to develop and deliver agreed training plans.
- Experience administering and managing a Learning Management System or equivalent record management system
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas and feedback to your stakeholders including senior leaders
- Demonstration of adult learning principles to design and deliver learning
- Ability to work both autonomously and in partnership with your stakeholders and peers
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite

**Qualifications, knowledge, and Experience**:
**Essential**
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent adult learning qualification
- Experience designing, developing, and facilitating learning & development programs that meet defined outcomes.
- Experience reviewing and evaluating learning programs to determine quality improvements and demonstrate return on investment
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to engage and collaborate successfully with key stakeholders from across all organisational levels and with external learning providers.
- Experience administering and managing a Learning Management System or equivalent record management system
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite

**Desirable**
- Event industry knowledge
- Expert skills in learning and development practices including instructional design, program development, coordination, and facilitation across all organisational levels
- Familiar with competency-based assessment practices
