The Position

Facilitate AlburyCity's Learning and Development activities through the development and implementation of programs and procedures, annual training plans and the administration of training programs.

  • Working 35 hours per week with a fortnightly RDO

Qualifications & experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Training and Development or related field
  • Demonstrated experience working in training and development or human resources within a diverse organisation.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Pro-actively partner with Council's various business units to deliver quality training programs including: corporate and compliance training, leadership development, AlburyCity Scholarship Programs whilst building team and employee capability with CHRIS Learn and LinkedIn Learning.
  • Design, develop and deliver an organisational wide leadership program and learning initiatives in line with AlburyCity's strategies and objectives.
  • Assist the ongoing development of talent management and capability framework programs.
  • Work closely with operations support functions to build employee capability through engagement, performance, and development.
  • Responsible for the creation of training suitable for multiple delivery methodologies including, face-to-face, e-learning, distance learning and tool-boxes meetings.
  • Creation of learning materials in multimedia formats, such as presentations, guides, e-learning, and videos.

Hours

Based on a 35 hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines.
