We are seeking a metal roofing job co-ordinator who will be involved in the organising and completion of jobs including quoting, measuring, ordering and supervision of contractors and other staff in the field. You will over-see the roofing activities that occur on the worksite, maintain high safety standards, plan and implement construction efforts at work sites and report back to the Operations Manager and Director.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure jobs are completed on time and work meets standards
- Ensure all paperwork and pre job checks are completed
- Ensure all services and equipment are booked in and onsite prior to commencement of work
- Ensure all tools, materials and contractors are on site as scheduled
- Travel to and supervise multiple sites during the course of the day
- Enforce and fulfil WHS and other code regulations to help prevent injuries, interruptions and fines
- Quality control and sign off on jobs where required
- Ensure job sites are kept clean and customer satisfaction
- Ensure Trucks and Warehouse are kept tidy and in order
- Ensure completion of jobs, occasionally requiring to be on the tools and assist our roofing teams
- Measure, take off, order materials

**Requirements**:

- A proactive, can-do attitude/problem solving skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads.)
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety
- Able to follow instructions in a positive manner
- Punctual and reliable
- Available for immediate start
- Able to work required hours
- Willing to get on the tools, quote, measure sites and perform jobs when needed

**Experience & Qualifications**
- Construction induction white card, open driver’s licence and working at heights
- MR Licence and experience driving trucks not required but desirable
- Experience with Hiab and Forklift not required but desirable
- Experience in the metal roofing industry
- Great Customer Service Skills
- Good knowledge and adhere to all Health and Safety on site
- Strong leadership skills and work well in a team
- Previous job co-ordinating skills
- Excellent organisational and planning skills to prioritise and balance work
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Preferred experience in MS Excel and Word, Service M8, Google Calendar, Nearmaps, Iauditor however not necessary.

Casual up to 38 hours per week available may lead to a more permanent full-time position for the right person.
