About the role
In the role of Principal Program Reporting Advisor you will manage and prepare the reporting component of the department's Qld Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP), including related information for state and federal budgetary processes, Estimates Committee Hearings, and whole-of-government reporting requirements.
The role will include but is not limited to;
- Support, prepare and manage the input to the various State Budget documentation, including Budget Paper 3 - Capital Statement, Regional Action Plans (RAPs) and Service Delivery Statement (SDS)
- Prepare, manage and review high level advice for adhoc requests (Ministerial and departmental), parliamentary questions, media statements, briefing notes and presentations for senior management.
- Build relationships with key internal stakeholders including delivery areas across the department and corporate finance support, as well as external stakeholders including Qld Treasury and the Department of State Development, Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning.
- Pursue program reporting advancement through improvements with data analytics, master data quality and governance and TMR's program management system 3PCM, including active participation in relevant working groups.
- Support manager and mentor colleagues within the Portfolio Reporting and Analysis team to develop and maintain strong management reporting skills and help improve work processes by providing peer review and technical leadership to colleagues.
