We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Traffic Management Coordinator to join our Infrastructure and Natural Assets Group. In this hands-on role, you’ll plan and support safe, efficient traffic management for council projects across roads, parks, stormwater systems, and public spaces.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Design clear, safe traffic management and guidance plans
- Check on-site traffic setups for safety and compliance
- Work with the WHS team on training and improvements
- Coordinate works programs to reduce disruption and improve flow
- Liaise with teams, contractors, residents, and authorities
- Assist in reviewing external traffic plans and manage contractor performance
- Keep accurate records and support process improvements

**About you**:

- Experience developing and reviewing traffic management plans
- Hold a white card and class c driver’s licence
- At least 1 year in a similar traffic role
- Strong knowledge of traffic and road regulations
- Great communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
- Availability to participate in an afterhours call-out roster is required

**What we offer you**:

- Base salary between $89,760.55 and $99,774.18 will be offered (dependent on skills and experience) + 12.5% superannuation
- Permanent/full-time
- 9-day fortnight + afterhours call-out roster
