We are seeking a dedicated Traffic Planner & Coordinator to join our team at Complete Linemarking Services. You will be responsible for designing traffic management plans and coordinating resources for major projects and contracts across the NSW road network.
**Your Responsibilities**:
As a Traffic Planner & Coordinator, you will ensure the highest standards of traffic management plans are developed and implemented. Your tasks will encompass:
- Crafting, revising, and maintaining meticulous traffic plans (TCP, TGS, TMP, VMP, PMP, etc) in full compliance with legislation, company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
- Managing the acquisition of road occupancy permits, including the essential RMS Road Occupancy Licence (ROL), Council approvals, and stakeholder endorsements (M1, M2, M4, M5, M7, etc).
- Keeping precise records of all road-related approvals, submissions, and renewals to guarantee accurate documentation.
- Procuring equipment and overseeing resource allocation.
- Collaborating with staff, contractors and subcontractors to strategize scheduling and resource allocation for various projects.
- Working closely with the Estimator and Operations Manager during project tendering.
- Conducting on-site audits and reviews to enhance work safety and operational efficiency.
- Continuously staying updated with standards and legislative requirements.
- Designing safety documents, assist in training, and overseeing safety compliance (SWMS, Risk Assessment, Toolbox Talk, Pre-Start Checklists, etc).
- Maintaining the necessary qualifications for fulfilling Traffic Planner & Coordinator’s role.
**What We Require**:
The Traffic Planner & Coordinator role should be motivated, resourceful, reliable, and have strong organisational skills. We seek an individual who can make informed decisions, adapt to new plans and works well under pressure. You should be self-driven and capable of autonomous work while maintaining clear communication for collaborative success with other team members. The following attributes are prerequisites for the role:
- Qualifications in Traffic Management Planning, including current PWZTMP (Prepare Workzone Traffic Management Plans) certification.
- Prior experience in planning, particularly in mobile/ static road works and linemarking.
- Proficiency in generating high-quality electronic site-specific drawings (TGS/TMP/VMP) using Invarion/ Rapid Plans software, with the ability to create high volumes of traffic guidance schemes at times.
- Solid understanding of Traffic Control and Worksites Manual (TCAWS) V6.1 & A Guide to Temporary Traffic Management (AGTTM).
- Understanding the process required for obtaining TfNSW Road Occupancy Licences and other government body approvals.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and effective time management.
