**The Firm**

At Go Figured we rescue businesses from bookkeeping and administration burdens and we have fun doing it Our standards are very high which is why our clients (and their accountants) love us so much.

Our commercial bookkeeping team is based in a modern, open plan, centrally located office in Spring Hill. Oh.... and did we mention we have our own barista?

Established in 2001, at Go Figured we have a wide variety of interesting clients including the film and television industry, creative agencies, sole traders, architects, truckers, law firms, start ups, construction companies and more Our mission is to relieve the pressure of financial record keeping and reporting for small and medium-sized businesses. We work alongside our clients in a support role or manage their entire bookkeeping, payroll and administration functions.

**The Role**

We are growing....therefore we are seeking another full time experienced Bookkeeper to join our team.

The key objectives include:

- Bookkeeping functions including Bank Reconciliations, Aged Payable and Receivable, Payroll, Superannuation, ATO Compliance, Cashflow Forecasting and Reporting
- Proactive client communication and file management
- General office administration tasks such as invoicing, filing, and answering phones as required
- Contributing to team meetings, process improvements and assisting less experienced team members as required

**You**

You will be a collaborative, experienced Bookkeeper who thrives on managing complex and varied responsibilities, completing tasks and being part of a team. You will have:

- Certificate IV in Bookkeeping (or higher)
- A strong teamwork focus
- High level of competency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel of course)
- Experience in a commercial bookkeeping firm
- Comprehensive exposure to various cloud-based accounting software including Xero (essential) and a working knowledge of MYOB
- A strong affinity with technology
- A sense of humour

It would be handy if you had Xero Certification and BAS Agent registration but this is not mandatory.

Your strong verbal and written communication skills will build trust and rapport with clients and teammates. You will embrace our app stack and be keen to trial new technologies that automate mundane tasks so that we can spend more time providing friendly personalised service to clients.

As a confident, self-motivated, solutions driven person, you will get excited about Excel, thrive on variety and love ticking tasks off your to do list.

**The Team**

We are an eclectic team including a tennis champion, chorale singer, margarita master, scout leader, tech guru, travel enthusiast, Lifeline volunteer, dog lover (plenty of these), baker and barista sista. Many of us are working parents too, and while we are working at Go Figured we are extraordinary bookkeepers.

As a close knit, cohesive crew, our team culture is something we are very proud of. We help and support each other. We are passionate about sharing ideas, and our team is empowered to make a significant difference to small and medium business owners.

The annual salary is negotiable, commensurate with experience.
