About us
The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority, and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state.
The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 per cent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.
About the role
The Registrar, Manager of Fines, Enforcement Operations and Support, is responsible for the state-wide management and support relating to fines imposed by the Magistrates' Court of Victoria and the enforcement of all unpaid fines and infringements. The role also acts as a central contact for court fine and enforcement warrant operations, resolving stakeholder enquiries and operational issues as they arise.
About you
- Demonstrates extensive knowledge of legislation, practices, policies and procedures applicable to Victorian Courts, Tribunals and Fines Victoria.
- Significant experience in coordinating administrative and operational support processes within a challenging work environment.
- The ability to work autonomously, taking initiative and contributing to the efficient running of court operations.
