**The Opportunity**:

- Lithgow City Council _has an exciting opportunity for an Executive Assistant (Water, Wastewater & Waste) to join their team in Lithgow, NSW.

Reporting to the Executive Manager (Water, Wastewater & Waste), this position provides administrative and management services to support the efficient and effective operation of the Directorate.

More specifically, your duties will include (but will not be limited to):

- Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Executive Manager - Water, Wastewater & Waste and the Water, Wastewater & Waste Division
- Type and prepare reports and other documents
- Prepare correspondence for approval and registration of outgoing mail
- Liaise with external professional organisations
- Provide project support and research
- Maintain diaries and co-ordinate meetings
- Prepare meeting agendas, complete minutes, and action plans
- Receive internal and external customer enquires for referral
- Assist with the preparation of Council documentation and meetings as directed
- Undertake additional administrative duties as required

**About you**:

- Qualifications/Certificate III in business administration; or related areas
- Relevant industry experience in assisting management and teams in administration and organisation
- Class C Drivers Licence
- Comprehensive verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to handle difficult people
- Demonstrated commitment to Work Health and Safety
- Demonstrated commitment to the principles of honesty and integrity
