**The Opportunity**:

- Lithgow City Council _has an exciting opportunity for a temporary **Executive Assistant Water, Wastewater and Waste** to join their team in Lithgow, NSW for a period of up to twelve (12) months.

The Executive Assistant provides administrative and management services to the Executive Manager to support the efficient and effective operation of the Directorate and the optimal utilisation of the Executive Manager time and resources. The role also provides executive support to the directorate.

More specifically, your duties will include (but will not be limited to):

- Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Executive Manager - Water, Wastewater & Waste and the Water, Wastewater & Waste Division
- Type and prepare reports and other documents
- Prepare correspondence for approval and registration of outgoing mail
- Liaise with external professional organisations
- Provide project support and research
- Maintain diaries and co-ordinate meetings
- Prepare meeting agendas, complete minutes, and action plans
- Receive internal and external customer enquires for referral
- Assist with the preparation of Council documentation and meetings as directed
- Undertake additional administrative duties as required

**About you**:

- Qualifications/Certificate II in word processing or business administration; or related areas
- Relevant industry experience in assisting management and teams in administration and organisation.
- Class “C” NSW Driver’s Licence.
- Comprehensive verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to handle difficult people

- Between $1,201.42 and $1,320.12 per week, commensurate with your skills, qualifications and experience
- Temporary term contract up to 12 months
