An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced venue bookings professional to join the programming team at Riverside Theatres Parramatta. We’re looking for a passionate performing arts administrator with experience in contract negotiation, venue bookings and programming with a deep understanding of theatrical production, financial administration and venue management who can relate to a broad range of clients including professional performance companies and community hirers.
**About the role**
This position is responsible for coordinating Riverside Theatres’ Venue Hire and Bookings program.
On a daily basis you will:
- Coordinate the booking of venues and arrangements and agreements with Hirers
- Assist and support the Program Manager to deliver business and booking services internally and externally
- Communicate and liaise with clients including production companies, promoters and contractors, community, government and business groups to achieve efficient delivery of services
- Coordinate and communicate the records and reports of the venue booking system, with all members of the Riverside team to achieve efficient delivery of services
- Assist in developing, maintaining and promoting Riverside Theatres as a centre of excellence in performing arts, events and exhibitions in Western Sydney region
**About You**
**Qualifications (Level)**
- Degree in an Arts or Business related discipline or extensive relevant experience.
**Experience**
- Extensive and relevant experience of, typically, a period of 3-5 years.
- Advanced experience in live performance venues and /or event end exhibition industries and working with professional and community based organisations.
- Experience in an arts and creative industries environment.
- Excellent communication skills including ability to maintain effective interpersonal and professional relationships with staff and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

**Skills**
- Excellent communication skills including ability to maintain effective interpersonal and professional relationships with staff and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in the performing arts.
- Advanced understanding of venue and programming systems.
**What’s on offer**
We are offering an attractive total remuneration package from $74,228 to $81,746 plus 10.5% superannuation.
