Team Leader

An exciting leadership role, reporting to the Manager Parks and Active Communities, overseeing the operational management of Council's rangers. The role leads and coordinates staff and activities within the rangers team to deliver effective and efficient regulatory and enforcement services in accordance with legislation and Council policies.
**About the role**:
- develop, coordinate and oversee the unit operation and staff
- achieve effective and efficient provision of regulatory and enforcement services
- develop and maintain policy and procedures framework and related monitoring and report systems
- provide specialist advice to divisional staff, management, and external stakeholders
- maintains high levels of customer service, ensuring proactive communication and education programs to stakeholders
- lead staff to ensure a can-do attitude in the delivery of contemporary compliance, regulatory and enforcement services.

- a base salary ranging from $106,847 per annum with performance-based increments up to $118,802 per annum, plus 10.5% super
- 35 hour week, 9 day fortnight

**We are seeking**:
- tertiary qualification relevant to undertaking the position and experience in leadership
- experience in coordinating a regulatory and enforcement function
- experience in high-level legal and technical problem solving and decision-making processes
- strong customer service across a broad range of stakeholders.
