JOB SUMMARY

The role is responsible for the purchasing, inventory and shipments that supports customer accounts owned by UK and local sales team for sales in APAC

This includes working with vendors and 3PL to ensure an efficient supply chain and resolving issues that occur in daily purchasing and logistics processing.

Key objective is to ensure the service level to our customer is maximised through a combination of efficient purchasing, at the best possible price.

Within the role, you will liaise with various stakeholders, including internal CDW departments, vendors and suppliers.

KEY RESPONSBILITES

Purchasing
- Ensure all purchase orders are placed correctly and on-time
- Ensure all items are created correctly to CDW standard
- To negotiate at any opportunity to maximise margins, ensuring best cost
- Liaise with sales teams to communicate any issues arising with their orders
- Chasing of all outstanding Purchase Orders on a daily basis and updating the system accordingly
- Proactive resourcing of outstanding purchase orders
- Cancel and amend orders as necessary, including initiating returns procedures
- Develop supplier relationships for a given product set: ensure suppliers always provide information related to deals and promotions and use this information to negotiate better deals. This relationship can be supported by regular meetings where necessary

Inventory Management
- Manage warehouse queues, ensuring orders are received, booked and shipped from the warehouse timely
- Manage supplier shipment reports and ensure dates captured in Navision
- Ensure stock integrity both physically and systematically between CDW and 3rd party systems
- Liaise with warehouse to ensure any issues can be resolved in a timely fashion
- Use of Supplier back order reports and order acknowledgments to ensure our system is updated with as much information as possible
- Develop relationships with all key Suppliers to enable improved ETA accuracy we provide to our sellers / customers
- Responsible for monitoring and completing actionable mails sent to the Post-Sales, Warehouse and Inventory mailboxes
- Manage inventory authorisations and update of location codes
- Processing of Intercompany Queues
- Liaising with Internal and External Suppliers to ensure collaboration and resolve issues whilst representing the best of CDW

General
- Clear and concise interaction with all company departments; notably the sales department
- Take ownership of queries and follow through to completion
- Communicate and resolve queries between Sales, Sales Support, Inventory International and 3PL

Assist with holiday cover in APAC Sales Operations team

- Experience working in a commercial environment preferred
