Our client is an Australian success story within the agricultural sector and is currently entering a period of diversified and exciting growth. They are currently seeking a qualified Purchasing Administrator, ideally with a background in agriculture or the industrial space, to join their Moree office ASAP. Reporting to senior management you will be required to assist with the following responsibilities:

- Working closely with production, demand, supply & sales departments;
- Inventory, stock-takes & auditing;
- Reporting & ad hoc administration;
- Ordering of spare parts as well as managing service contracts;
- Distribution management;
- Provide support for the site manager;
- Building strong mutually beneficial process & relationships with suppliers;
- Monitoring deliveries;
- Maintaining data integrity & orders

The successful applicant will be a self motivated, pro-active individual with high attention to detail and the the ability and willingness to be hands on. Those demonstrating a background in trades/mechanical/heavy industry that are handy or mechanically minded are strongly encouraged to apply. It is essential that you have previous experience in a similar role and are able to commit to the longer hours during peak season, as those from industry will appreciate the seasonality of the role.
