POSITION DESCRIPTION
Young Hotels - Hotel Duty Manager

$65,000 - $85,000

We Have positions available at the Following Venues:

- Palace hotel, Mortlake
- Hotel Concord, Concord west
- Royal Hotel, Ryde
- Bar Broadway, Chippendale
- Illinois Hotel, Five Dock
- Wisemans inn, Wisemans Ferry

The Hotel Duty Manager is responsible for the management and operation of the Hotels and areas including the Restaurant, Bars and Gaming areas, including management and supervision of hotel staff.

**Duties**:

- Operational management of Restaurant, Food, Function and Bar services provided at company Hotels
- Operational management of Gaming services provided at company Hotels
- Operational management of Accommodation services provided at company Hotels
- Staff management and supervision;
- Implementing Hotel Policies and Procedures
- Recruiting, training and supervising staff
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and licensing laws
- Monitor employee performance and conduct regular evaluations to help improve customer service.
- Organize activities and assign responsibilities to employees to ensure productivity.
- Performs daily, weekly and monthly property inspections
- Audits on par stock on all areas to make sure that all required hotel supplies are ordered and stocked in advance of need
- Daily Cash / Banking reconciliation
- Opening / Closing venues
- Weekly venue performance reports

All Other duties as assigned by the Hotel Licensee and Operational Manager.
