**Your new role**

The Field Training Representative Instructor is responsible for delivering both practical and theoretical training to the Customer during Introduction Into Service. The role will involve close co-operation with the Training Provider responsible for the development of learning materials and Technology Enabled Learning.

Experience with the Systems Approach to Defence Learning (SADL) model to meet the prescribed Learning Outcome is essential to be successful in this role. You will provide training to defence nominated personnel in the technical skills required to operate and sustain the Mission Systems. Some of the work will be conducted at the resident Army Unit, at relevant contractor external supplier locations or in the field. This includes Army Exercises. You will also provide on the job Training to Army Operator and Maintenance Personnel in the relevant units or locations.
- Delivery of instructor led learning within an adult learning environment.
- Aspects of enabling self-paced learning consistent with blended learning techniques will be employed, including use of training equipment and devices, such as simulation.
- You will travel Interstate and potentially overseas for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) IIS training (Train the trainer).
- Duties will also involve practical field work during the conduct and delivery of training.
- You will report into the Senior Instructor Designer.

**What you'll need to succeed***
- Experience with the Systems Approach to Defence Learning (SADL) model to meet the prescribed Learning Outcome is essential.
- You must be experienced with complex training in an defence environment (ideally 2+ years).
- Experienced dealing with army units is highly regarded, however delivering training within different domains such as maritime, aerospace, aviation etc will also be considered.
- Cert IV in workplace training (or equivalent) is required.
- Ability to support the ADF in barracks and in field environments.
