Reporting directly to the Head of Product, Delivery and Disclosure, as a Product Communications Manager you will be a key and valued member that is responsible for the delivery of competitive and sustainable product and disclosure initiatives enabling us to continue to provide value for our members and position Rest’s brand ad reputation in the marketplace.
- This role is critical in ensuring that we continuously improve our member products, processes and communications to meet member needs, whilst at the same time meet our regulatory and legislative obligations to deliver low fees and profits back to our members.**Key Responsibilities Include**:
- Responsible for the planning and implementation of initiatives to deliver strategic goals or satisfy regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Managing the development, compliance and production of product-based communications for Superannuation, Insurance and Retirement product solutions.
- Manage the production of communications in accordance with changing business and legislative requirements, product enhancements and legal and compliance requirements to ensure Rest does not breach the wide range of legislative, legal and industry laws and standards.
- Development and implementation of effective multi-channel communication strategies for Rest product initiatives, including product enhancements, launches and projects.
- Work in collaboration with the other members of the Product team and other stakeholders to deliver on the Product Strategy and Roadmap to meet Rest’s business strategy and vision.
- Ensure product material and product offering is compliant and work closely with other members of the Product team on the ongoing management of letters, forms, website and App content.
- Contribute to the development of key communications to support a range of digital, service and other channels including website and employer engagement team.
- Work closely with stakeholders across Rest to support the delivery of strategic deliverables, such as Operations, Investments, Insurance, Employer, Member Engagement, Risk and other teams.
- Educate our stakeholders and promote the Rest product suite and act as a product champion.
- Manage risk ongoing, including incidents, controls and other risk strategies relevant and appropriate for our products, members and our business as they arise.
**About You**:
You have depth in research, evaluation and implementation, taking pride in your ability to communicate the complex in to simple with a strong detail orientation. Collaboration is a core skills - as is the initiative to work autonomously as required.- Experience and knowledge of superannuation industry and product offerings.
- Proven 5 years’ experience in superannuation product management, end-to-end product development and implementation.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively, and translate complex information for a range of stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail and ability to formulate and execute product strategies in collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Tertiary qualifications in a finance, business, economics or similar discipline or equivalent experience.
- RG146 in Superannuation
