Your brand-new role will lead and coordinate and test resources in the day-to-day testing activities, whilst also carrying out and executing day to day testing and quality assurance activities.

**Key activities**
- Motivate, coach and lead testing resources to achieve goals by providing clear performance expectations, regular feedback and documenting performance outcomes
- Work closely with the portfolio team to develop and maintain effective working relationships and the integrity of the overall integrated solution
- Create test deliverables that include project specific test strategies, test plans, test cases and test executions to verify acceptance criteria/requirements
- Ensure established testing standards, processes, practices, guidelines, tools, and templates are understood and are being consistently applied and adhered to
- Identify areas of improvements, introduce efficiencies, widen test coverage, and improve testing related assets and artefacts
- Management of test related vendors and associated enterprise level contracts
- Provide expert advice and guidance for all key testing activities including test scope definition, test effort estimation and prioritisation
- Assist in implementing and maintaining testing tools and techniques required to achieve test execution planned for project and ongoing operational activities

**Skills and experience**
- Proven experience in leading a team of Test Analysts in a cross-functional and/or Agile teams
- Strong verbal and communication skills; with proven ability to adapt to multiple stakeholders from varying contexts
- Extensive, analytical experience with the ability to lead through a complex landscape
- Understanding of testing roles, principles, methodologies, and tools, including experience of developing flexible and pragmatic testing approaches to support achievement of delivery milestones
- Extensive experience in creating Test deliverables to support projects and operational activities
- Evidence of self-driven, open, learning mindset with strong facilitation skills
- Good knowledge and experience of test automation frameworks and methodologies
- Previous experience working within higher education highly regarded
