The right candidate will have solid experience with testing various applications and extremely passionate about the testing world.
Experience with Saa S products is highly favourable, as well as a strong understanding of cloud hosting infrastructure and Video technology.
The role will require you to assess software quality through manual and automated testing.
You will be responsible for finding and reporting of bugs and glitches.
Ultimately you will ensure that our products, applications and systems work correctly and you are driven by creating the ultimate customer experience.
The role is based in our Melbourne CBD office and follows m-View's hybrid working policy.
This role reports to the Quality Assurance Manager.
Key Responsibilities Contributing as a key member of the development team with involvement in the continuous improvement process Following formal QA processes using industry accepted best practices Define, implement, and optimise QA policies, test plans and procedures in alignment with business goals.
Collaborate with Product Owners / stakeholders to translate requirements into test cases and documentation.
Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met Develop and document business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls Work with QA team in QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated)Develop and produce high quality content for technical and business audiences Translate complex information into technical documentation that meets applicable standards is clear, concise and appropriate for its intended audience Analyse existing content, focusing on re-use and implement improvements / new documentation where required Provide editing and technical writing of systems documentation (policies, guidelines etc)Contribute to the documentation management framework associated with the system Essential Skills and Experience Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role Proven experience in creating and implementing automation test scripts Experience in writing Test Plans, Test cases and holding workshops Working knowledge of test management tools (eg Test Rail, JIRA, HP ALM)Familiarity with auditable, transaction-based systems (eg ERP, HRIS, body-worn camera platforms) ensuring compliance and traceability Experience in appropriate tools (Load Runner, JMeter) for Load testing across web /mobile platform Experience in API testing (REST API) for web services and UI space Frontend automation testing, demonstrated experience in testing hardware Ability to plan end-end testing of both Functional and Non-Functional areas Strong skills and experience in System Integration Testing, Regression Testing, User Acceptance Testing Skilled and experienced with Bug reporting and Defect management process Ability to identify and discuss improvements to current processes Flexibility to work on a range of tasks as delegated throughout the QA process Familiarity with Agile framework is a must Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organisational skills Attention to detail, and analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude Relevant tertiary education (BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or similar)Nice to have Experience Hands-on experience with lab setups (test harnesses, power supplies) for hardware validation Hardware troubleshooting Familiarity with video streaming technologies Why Apply?m-View is committed to our people and their career development, health and well-being, work-life balance and reward, and recognition.
