Brisbane, Australia State Library Full time

Designing and implementing creative, appealing and collaborative engagement activities and documentation to promote State Library collections. This includes the creation and delivery of client focused strategies and researched content for engagement onsite and online as well as providing specialist advice on selection, interpretation and discovery of the collection to both external clients and internal staff
- Coordinating and creating a range of diverse supporting material for State Library's exhibition program and engagement activities, onsite and online. This includes researching, developing and delivering lecture series, online posts and presentations to special visitors including donors and media, ensuring that collections are presented with expert knowledge
- Collaborating and building strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, government, communities of interest, and public library staff to ensure State Library collections are accessible, central to documenting Queensland's heritage and providing public value. This includes advocating on behalf of State Library to promote the awareness and use of the collection
- Working effectively with colleagues and peers while contributing to a productive and positive work environment in times of change and uncertainty. This includes being a proactive member of the Collection Engagement team and the Content and Client Services portfolio

There are no mandatory requirements for this role, however qualifications in library services, history studies or a related field would be highly regarded.
