The Art Gallery Society of NSW (AGS) is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee (Note: we are not a public service organisation) that runs the official Membership Program for the Art Gallery of NSW (AGNSW).

We are looking for a capable high performing individual with professional experience to deliver administrative and executive support to our small creative team and dynamic program.

In this role you will support the ongoing operations of the Executive and Management team with specific responsibility for managing the Executive Director’s diary, coordinating meetings and assisting with stakeholder engagement, events and other arrangements across the Art Gallery.

In this role you will be involved in many aspects of the delivery of membership services and programs with key responsibilities to assist with administration, reporting, policies and procedures development. The position holder maintains a high level of liaison with internal and external stakeholders and coordinates a range of internal activities.

The Administration and Executive Assistant also provides high level support for the activities of the AGS Council including organising meetings of the Council, Finance and other committees, organising meetings, distributing agendas and papers, co-ordinating attendance, organising venues, reports and presentations, taking minutes and following up decisions and actions.

Applicants must have demonstrated experience in the provision of administrative support to senior executives and managers, excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated experience in all aspects of meeting planning, agendas, minutes and procedures.
