The Fresh Collective are looking for a passionate and experienced Events Operations Manager to lead our front of house service team at Sydney's most exciting new opening - Sydney Modern Project at Art Gallery NSW.

We currently hosts a variety of amazing events at Art Gallery NSW such as cocktail parties, corporate events and weddings. Art Gallery NSW is due to open the biggest and most exciting new Art Precinct - Sydney Modern Project. This position is to build and lead the opening FOH Events team plus manage the daily Events operations across both buildings.

**The Role**
- Take ownership, build and lead the service team across all events at Art Gallery NSW including Sydney Modern Project
- Deliver exceptional client and guest experiences across a diverse range of events
- Lead and manage a large team of experienced event managers, supervisors, waiters and bartenders
- Manage the event operations including rostering and planning plus manage events from set up, through to sequence of service, to pack down
- Work closely with the venue, events, culinary and logistic teams across both sites
- Build strong relationships with the main stakeholders at Art Gallery NSW and The Fresh Collective

**About You**
- Extensive experience across the hospitality industry, venue and events management experience is highly regarded
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse service team and venue stakeholders
- Motivated by delivering an exceptional client and guest experience including a keen eye for detail
- Organised with good time management and administrative skills
- Have a can-do approach and be passionate about the industry
- Valid RSA
