My client is a Global Services provider, they are looking for an enthusiastic & experienced payroll team lead to join their established team on a permanent full time basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to further develop their payroll & management skills as you will have the support and guidance from an experienced Payroll Manager & the support of the payroll team. You will be working with a collaborative team and established company.
My client is based in Sydney's beautiful Northern Beaches (parking on site) and WFH flexibility.
The role is being offered as a permanent full time position, paying up to $105,000 plus super
**You will be responsible for providing expertise and support to the team to ensure they meet their SLA and deliverables. This role is responsible for being hands on where needed, as well as mentoring, developing team members, improving productivity and ensuring accurate results.**
**Key focus areas of the role**:
- Accountable for the performance in Timesheet, Invoice and all Payroll against SLA’s
- Analysis, improvement and documentation of specialised procedures and Work Instructions
- Assist within administering payrolls, month end consolidation and processing support as required
- Building contingency plans to ensure that adequate coverage is maintained to meet deadlines across both local and offshore teams
- Being a point for escalation and provide suggested resolutions
- Develop and implement robust team management plan that motivates and rewards, promotes collaboration and innovation and underpins continuous improvement to individuals and the team
- Conduct regular team member catch ups / reviews and document
- Adopting a “can do” attitude and leading by example, be a positive role model for the entire team
**Experience required**:
- 2-3 years working experience in a Senior / Team Lead / Supervisor position (similar role)
- Experience in hands on managing / mentoring / guiding / training team members
- Experienced in Payroll processes (end to end including reporting)
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Enjoys working in a team environment and helping people grow
