- John Holland’s Infrastructure division is currently constructing some of Australia’s most complex projects, including the Black Hill to Tomago M1, Belmont Desalination Plant Project, and Upper South Creek Advanced Water Recycling Centre. Due to industry expansion, the John Holland Infrastructure business is currently seeking a **Document Controller** for an upcoming project in the Hunter NSW region.- As a Document Controller, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless management of project documentation, contributing to the success of critical initiatives. You will be responsible for maintaining document control processes, ensuring compliance with company standards, and facilitating efficient communication across the project team.**Responsibilities of the role include**:
- Manage and maintain project documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure all documents are properly filed, accessible, and accurately recorded within document control systems.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely submission, review, and approval of documentation.
- Monitor document version control to maintain data integrity and consistency.
- Support the preparation and distribution of reports, drawings, and other project-related documents.
- Ensure compliance with Document Control procedures.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders; and foster a culture of inclusion, responsiveness, honesty and accountability
- Perform all duties in accordance with John Holland policies, processes, systems, reporting and procedure
**To be successful in this key role, you must have**:
- Proven experience in a similar Document Controller position, preferably within the construction or infrastructure industry.
- Proficiency in document control software and systems (e.g., Aconex, TeamBinder, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to process improvement.
- Familiarity with John Holland’s systems and processes (desirable but not essential).
- Highly developed attention to detail
- Proven time management, planning and organisation skills
