**Description**:
**What you will be doing**:
As the HR Advisor (6+ month fixed term parental leave contract, commencing late May, with the possibility of extension) you will work collaboratively with the leaders of HMPS Group to provide hands on support, coordination, guidance and administration of a full range of HR services nationally.

This role is a key position in providing assistance and guidance on a broad range of HR policies, practices and procedures. You will expand on the work of the HR Manager to maintain the new HR system, engaging employees in its full utilisation, coordinate and implement a training program, be integral in the development of a safety management system and be essential in the guidance of the management team in all areas of HR.

- You will be the first point of contact for HR matters, providing reliable, accurate, timely and well-informed human resources advice and support.
- You will coordinate the employee life-cycle operation and execute on key HR projects in a timely manner.
- Implement and maintain all approved HR plans, policies, practices and procedures.
- Ensure that you are fully across how our business operates nationally.
- You will possess an undeniable ability to communicate effectively and present practical solutions.

**Skills and Experiences**:
**What you will possess**:
You will possess at least 2-3 years of experience in human resources with demonstrated experiences across a range of HR functions.
- Experience working in a manufacturing/engineering business will be highly regarded.
- A good understanding of the Fair Work Act, modern awards and other relevant workplace legislation.
- Knowledge of HR best practice and HR policies and procedures.
- HRIS experience advantageous.
- Safety management system experience and/or return to work coordinator experience beneficial.
- Recruitment and onboarding skills.
- Passionate and driven with an emphasis on personal growth.
- Strong interpersonal skills, and a customer focussed approach.
- Decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Sound knowledge in technologies / computer skills.
- Enjoy being challenged and willing to work outside the confines of a traditional work environment.
