This is an exciting opportunity to work for an Australian owned Freight Forwarder and Customs Brokerage in the St George area. Due to continued growth the company is seeking a junior to join the import & customs operations team.
**No previous experience is required** as you will be provided with full training.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Job registration
- Documentation processing, eg.pre-alert, arrival notice
- EDO processing including payments via cheque & compay
- Monitoring cargo status and availability
- Arrange cartage
- Liaise with shipping lines, co-loaders, depots, airlines, overseas agents, suppliers and internal staff to ensure the professional movement of all shipments

**Qualities required for the role**:

- Computer proficiency in MS Office products
- Accurate data entry skills
- Genuine desire to develop a career in Freight Forwarding
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Confident & friendly manner
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Able to prioritise and meet deadlines
