The role:
Opportunities exist for a full time Analyst Level I to join our team at our Kensington lab. As a level I Analyst, you will be directly responsible for conducting routine sample preparation and food testing. You will also conduct a wide range of test using manual, semi-automated, and fully automated techniques. If the test is automated you may be required to analyse data and report results.

Your day to day will include but is not limited to:
- Preparing Microbiological media and standards-
- Performing basic testing and sample preparation, utilising aseptic technique-
- Assisting with writing and reviewing documentation such as laboratory methods and standard operating procedures-
- Coordinating with internal clients-
- Performing basic calibrationsWhat’s needed?

To be successful in this role you will need to possess the following:
- Experience in Instrumental techniques is essential-
- Experience in Labware/LIMS (Desirable)-
- Understanding the principles of tests conducted-
- The ability to be an effective trainer-
- Laboratory experience preferably in food testingSafety is an absolute. Ongoing Drug & Alcohol testing and the ability to meet site inductions will be a requirement of working on site.
