**The role**

BVAQ Media Department is seeking to appoint a permanent Analyst Level III who will be directly responsible for conducting day to day media preparation tasks, performing media QC, involving in maintenance and calibrations of equipment, maintaining internal and external stock, ordering and receiving external stock, as well as maintaining clear and effective written and verbal communications with internal and external stakeholders. They have thorough understanding of Media Department workflow, underpinning scientific principles, systems and procedures to facilitate problem solving and troubleshooting.

Your day to day may include.
- Carry out media preparation tasks according to SOPs.
- Performing media QC to ensure the high quality of media is produced.
- Assisting with routine calibration and maintenance of equipment.
- Ability to maintain accurate level of internal and external stock.
- Placing order and receiving external stock in a timely manner.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Understanding of Media Department workflow and ability to arrange tasks according to priority.
- Maintaining workplace safety.
- Plus any other duties as required, as matched to your competence and ability to perform.
- Demonstrable knowledge of OHS requirements within a laboratory.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Ongoing Drug & Alcohol testing will be a requirement of working on site.
