**Overview**

The Shared Services Consultant will provide high-quality and accurate processing of transactions and enquires, ensuring that issues are resolved satisfactorily, speedily and in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) whist meeting service performance targets.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Investigate and resolve match exceptions liaising with the vendor and the business requestor/sourcing specialist and suppliers.
- Prepare supplier statement reconciliations - reconcile and follow-up both supplier and business agencies to resolve aged invoices.
- Ensure all approvals are obtained in line with policy and procedures.
- Provide support and guidance to stakeholders & cross functional teams to ensure correct procedures are followed (escalations from tier 1).
- Prepare and process all scheduled payment runs for Supplier, Payroll, Cashback, Drives & Employee Expenses.
- Investigation and resolve aged items on the Accounts Payable ledger across all agencies within the business unit.
- Provide daily notification of outgoings to Treasury.
- Prepare cash forecasting in line with Treasury expectations.

**Key Experience**
- Experience working in accounts payable, accounts receivable and/or banking and revenue, including the management and resolution of disputes and discrepancies.
- Experience with and sound understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, accounting principles, standards and policies.
- Advanced capability to communicate clearly, concisely and appropriately both orally and in writing.
- Sound numeracy ability with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and to learn and implement new processes and procedures as new technology, service requirements and work methods emerge.
- Experience using multiple computer-based systems, including SAP and ability to learn new systems with ease.
