Ambulance Victoria's (AV) mission is to improve the health of our community by delivering innovative, high quality ambulance services.
AV is seeking an Administrative Support Officer (ASO) to provide effective and efficient high-level administrative and secretarial support to the Triage Services Managers and other staff within the department.
This is a full time, permanent position currently based in Burwood East.
ABOUT THE ROLE
AV's Operational Communications division is responsible for coordinating and optimising state-wide emergency and non-emergency ambulance response, as well as the provision of patient care through Australia's largest ambulance triage directorate. The Triage Services Department manages and provides state-wide secondary triage services.
As the initial point of contact for the Triage Services team the ASO responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide broad administrative support, including diary management, event and travel arrangements, meeting agendas and minutes, preparation of various draft correspondence and documents (e.g. business cases, memos, reports, presentations) and written responses to correspondence.
- Undertake research and project work in consultation with management, when required.
- Coordinate and collate monthly/quarterly operating reports, as well as compile ad-hoc statistical, financial and analytical reports within given deadlines.
- Undertake office coordination and procurement including stock requirements of stationery, equipment, and materials, receipt and fulfilment of requests, and processing payments.
- Support financial requirements by processing invoices, purchase orders and monthly budget report documentation.
ABOUT YOU
- Substantial experience and expertise in providing secretarial and administrative support within a large organisation or department.
- Experience in the development and maintenance of administrative systems.

This position is graded an ACS2A for which the annual salary $59,462 plus 10.5% superannuation.
