Are you passionate about driving innovative records governance and management strategies within a dynamic university setting? We are seeking a forward-thinking **Manager, Records Governance Services** to lead the development and implementation of high-quality, efficient, and compliant records management processes across our University.

As the Manager, Records Governance Services, you will work under broad direction to shape the University’s strategic approach to records management. You will lead the development of integrated solutions that enhance our information governance framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, including the **NSW State Records Act 1998**.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the strategic direction and development of an integrated, university-wide records management program.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative frameworks and identify risks associated with records governance.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines to manage records in line with regulatory obligations.
- Drive the continual improvement of the University’s recordkeeping maturity.
- Foster a culture of excellence in records management, ensuring all business areas understand the critical benefits of compliance and effective governance.
- Collaborate with key university stakeholders to implement innovative, secure, and efficient records management solutions.
This continuing position is full time at a HEW 9 Higher Education Level located at Callaghan Campus.

- The remuneration for this position is pro-rated from $130,798 - $140,139 p.a. + superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience

- Practical experience and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of best-practice frameworks, the regulatory environment as it relates to developing and implementing electronic and physical records management solutions to improve operational efficiency in a service industry based within a people and results focused environment.
- Ability to think strategically and innovatively, including a demonstrable capacity proactively to identify and respond to relevant issues of both long-term and immediate importance to the University.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to the development of policies, standards and/or architecture for the University around its records management.
- Ability to show leadership and exceptional interpersonal skills by empowering staff to meet high standards and delivery of targets whilst actively managing performance and KPIs to achieve positive outcomes.
- Ability to generate a strong sense of team spirit, co-operation and collaboration within and across teams.
- In-depth technical knowledge and experience in managing a records management solution or electronic document environment and a customer focused approach to service delivery.
- Demonstrated knowledge of workplace obligations to, and experience in leading and cultivating workplace practices and behaviours that promote, support and maintain a safe, healthy, equitable, diverse and respectful workplace; including responding appropriately to adverse accidents, incidents, behaviours, issues, reports and the like.
