**About the role**
TAFE NSW is seeking a dynamic and experienced **Lead Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst** to help drive its reporting and analytics capability and champion best practices across the organisation. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering enterprise-grade BI solutions that support strategic goals and enhance service delivery.
The Lead BI Analyst will lead a team of analysts and report developers responsible for delivering complex business intelligence solutions and improving the data driven capabilities at TAFE NSW. This role has a strong customer service focus and will be pivotal in furthering the analytics skillset within the team and the organisation. As a leader you will guide and mentor the data analytics team and champion best practice across the broader data teams at TAFE NSW.
**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
- Detailed experience and broad expertise in BI design and development using the Microsoft data and analysis suite and/or BI tools including Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Microsoft Azure Synapse.
**Highly Regarded**
- Experience in progressing data capabilities from pure reporting to analysis and insights.
- Proven stakeholder management experience.
- Active in your own life long learning journey, remaining current in your chosen field.
