As a rapidly growing Insuretech company we have an abundance of data to work with and we need a data-driven Business Intelligence Analyst to join our growing team of data fanatics Collaboration, knowledge sharing and being a creative problem solver is the key to success in this team, so we are looking for a likeminded analyst to grow with us

**What you'll be doing?**
As a BI Analyst you will be enabling data users to self-serve their own insights and achieve positive value across BizCover's operations. You will develop and manage a portfolio of dashboards/reports and data assets across everything from marketing and sales, to customer service and product performance, and will be working alongside experienced Data Analysts turning exploratory data sets and insights into operational metrics and visualisations.

Day to day you will be
- Building visually engaging PowerBI dashboards which enable clear insights by stakeholders.
- Creating operational data sets behind the dashboards using a modern Cloud SQL based data stack (Snowflake, dbt, Github).
- Helping BizCover be data-driven by implementing business metrics which can highlight performance and create opportunities to improve our growth trajectory and operational processes.
- Working with the analysts and data scientists to measure value and change in key metrics delivered through analytics.
- Collaborating with stakeholders across the whole business to understand their problems and refine our dashboards and metrics to shine a light on how we can improve results.

**Who we want**
To be a good fit for our team, we want someone who can bring experience with dashboards and shape the data behind them in the right way, contributing your expertise and vision You’ll be expected to own your work, engaging and collaborating with others when needed, and are comfortable presenting your results to an audience.

**The essentials we expect you to have**:

- 1+ years’ experience in Business Intelligence working with business teams to implement and manage dashboards.
- Strong data visualisation skills with the ability to organise multiple metrics and filters to engage with business audiences.
- Solid SQL coding expertise, including data manipulation and analytics functions.
- Experience designing a data model to suit visualisations, and deal with “at a point in time” use-cases and the right ways to slice and filter data
- A strong documentation ethic and concise business writing skills.
- Confidence presenting your visuals to senior management and explaining how they can be used to dig into a problem using the data.
- Deep commercial experience with a data visualisation tool such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working as part of a team.

**Bonus points if you have**:

- Experience working within a customer-service or digital product delivery environment.
- Experience working in the insurance industry.
- Experience with Kimball dimensional modelling, star schemas etc.
- Exposure to tools which help us deliver, like Git, dbt, AWS cloud stack, or anything you think would be good for us to innovate with.
