**About the role**

We have an opportunity for a **Security Platform Owner** to be part of our Technology Command. The role is responsible for the strategic management and overall success of technology platforms within NSW Police Force with a primary focus on overseeing the lifecycle of the platform, from initial planning and design to ongoing operations and continuous improvement.

**_ To be successful in this role, you will have:_**
- Understanding of IT Service Delivery processes and experience in following the best practice in IT service management, including preparation of technical documentation.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining security controls based on recognised frameworks, including ISO27001 and PSPF.
- Practical knowledge of best practice and frameworks to ensure secure by design principles are applied to all network solutions.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical issues to relevant stakeholders and work collaboratively with third-party service providers on solutions.
- University degree or tertiary qualification in related field with equivalent experience.
